ONE - derful!

Noelle's first present of the morning was birthday balloons. Both she and Sam ran around the house happily for a long while playing with balloons.

Eagerly opening presents after a brief lesson from her brother.

Noelle's pony.

First taste of spaghetti.

Birthday candles.

Mmm. Donuts.

Seriously, mmmm.

Thanks for the donut!

Reading the card first. So polite. (This was round 2 of presents; the first was from grandparents.)

Sam having a difficult time understanding that it's Noelle's birthday. One more week to go buddy.

Shopping.

Noooo! Don't let her be one. Don't let her grow up any more. Just make her stay little forever. I can't stand being this far away!

PS from the mouth of Dylan: "Birthday donuts! Why didn't I think of that?"

FYI, the candles were "boughten" at the Dollar Tree. We went there to get the balloons and I couldn't resist.

Happy birthday, Noelle! She looks like she enjoyed ever morsel of that donut. She looks like a super-stealth present opener. What fun!
