Easter Adorable

What could make two adorable girls who adore each other gain more adoration? Oh, I don't know? Put them in matching Easter dresses. Boom. Adorableness X 100,000,000,000.

Doubled Over

Mid-day, I could tell Ruby was not feeling well. In attempt to finish dinner, I sat her on the floor, turned to check on her about 3 minutes later, and found this sad scene.

Noelle's Tangled hair cut. If you've seen the movie, you'll know she's holding a frying pan.

Tangled

Just discovered Sam's exploration of becoming a hair stylist when he grows up. Noelle was his model. Consequently, Noelle has requested the "Tangled" hairstyle and will be receiving a short crop on Friday.

Celebration!

Friday, a group from the neighborhood and Church drove to the thriving metropolis of Melba, Idaho (yes, I said Melba)--about an hour from Boise. The area is covered with boulders and rocks deposited by the great Bonneville flood in pre-hysterical times. Ancient Native Americans carved pictures/hieroglyphics on those rocks = petroglyphs. Celebration park has a ton of these boulders and it's an easy, fun walk around to discover them with lizards galore. The park also had atlatl throwing (spear throwing) for all ages to try. We had an Easter egg hunt around the boulders, saw some smilodon skulls, woolly mammoth teeth and a giant sloth claw (did you know those things could stand 15 feet tall?--Impress your friends). It was an awesome day-trip and well worth the $2 I shelled out for parking.

The same hieroglyph is found in Easter Island. Possible evidence they say of migration. For us Latter-day saints all I can say is . . . well, duh.

Swingtown

Finally a nice day. Ruby had her first swing on our swing set. She liked it.

I've Got Sunshine
