Easter Part Uno

Ah, Easter.  It's the one Sunday of the year my kids have no say in what they wear to Church (unless you count pretty much every Sunday when I threaten taking them to Church in their pajamas if they don't put on Sunday appropriate attire in like 2 minutes).  Sure, they might have mussed up their hair as soon as I gelled it, but that's as far as you go, buck-o.  This Easter, Grandma Walker bought the attire and Ruby got to pick out her very own dress.  I got to squeal in delight when I found Noelle's, blue belt and all.  And Sam, although wearing a bonafide tie tie, got to feel really surly about having to wear it...period.

We Like to Party

January - March meant a lot of partying in the Woolner household.

This handsome guy is 33.

This little girl decided it was time to practice her mothering skills.  I'd like to think it was because of my good example ;)

It snowed and we took the party outdoors.  Might I add, shoveling a 3 car driveway with 6" of snow at least is grueling...grueling.

Here's the cutest, sweetest 5-year old on the planet.

Noelle received the same present Ruby received at Christmastime (a Hello Kitty backpack and sleeping bag).  Someone got a little confused that perhaps her own gift had been given to another.

Sam's 1st grade musical program.  All the kids are in PJs.  It took me a while to figure out the program was suppose to be a dream.  His music teacher formally worked for Disney, so it was pretty epic.

Noelle got to have a party this year.  She seriously has the sweetest friends.

Snowed again. Shoveled again.

Sam's party.  Army themed.  Each of the balloons had a point value and they got so many nerf bullets to earn the most points.  I'm a genius.

Army crawl and then pop the balloon.

Pin the tank on the target.

Yes, Pokemon ball cupcakes made by yours truly.

Betcha didn't know I started learning the violin.  Here's my first recital.  I out-aged all the other recitalist by about 30 years.

Hey, this sexy lady turned 35.  Unnie's Gangnam Style.

Noelle's preschool toured the grocery store.

I heart Mrs. Rowles.

Crazy hair day at school.  Sam actually let me spray his hair green and then promptly hated it.  Too late, time to go to school.

Someone's channeling her inner Madonna.

Taking a break from partying to snuggle.

Phew, that was crazy,  Let's slow things down.

So This Is Christmas

I honestly don't know what happened to my Christmas photos.  And really, the reason I am so behind in my blogging is that I can not find them and I was feeling a little lost.  So, I'm posting the two whole pictures I do have and then letting you imagine the rest.  It was magical.  It was Christmascal.  It was.  It.

Look!  We decorated the tree.

Noelle and I and our friends went to see Disney Princesses on Ice.  And from the looks of it, she never takes that dress off.  But she does.  She really does.

Do You Remember the 21st Night of November?

I pretty much think Earth Wind and Fire's groovy hit "September" is a super smash of awesomeness.  And here's a few more awesome things that happened in November (2012).

"I like her bangs".  And then not long after, Noelle decided to practice the art of hairdressing and Ruby ended having a lot less hair.

I went to Nebraska to see my sister and everyone on the plane kept wanting to give me things.  Money, books, and football tickets.  I decided to take the football tickets and the book.  I let the money thing go.  But really, it was crazy.

There was peace and harmony for ten whole minutes!

Turkey Trot 2012.  The ladies in my neighborhood put these together...you should have seen the Bunny Run.
