Ready For Big Brotherhood???

Hey there little fella. This oughtta knock that cloyingly cute smile off your sweet, baby face. I'm the baby 'round here, you got it?

What's happened here, mama? Who could have done such a dastardly deed to a poor, defenseless, plastic, smiley baby brother doll? (Notice the stiffled laugh.)
Who me? I love babies. See? Nice one-armed baby brother.
(Disclaimer: No plastic baby boy dolls were permanently injured during the making of this blog post. All arms were restored to their proper places. However, all pictures were in no way staged and the events in these pictures actually ocurred.)

The Pied Piper of Gresham

Oh I'm the Pied Piper of Gresham
Don't you wish you were me
And you could wear this diaper
And dance and play with glee
Tra la la la Tra la la la
Oh I'm the Pied Piper of Gresham

Flamin' Hot . . . Flashes, That Is

For real. I thought some people would like an update after surgery. The doctor gave me this shot that puts me into menopause. He's planning on keeping me that way for 6 months to give my ovaries a break. Isn't that nice? So now I have sneak peak into what life is like on menopause and I'm sharing my little treasures with you.

#1 - Hot flashes and Cold flashes. They're no joke my friends. But I find I welcome the hot flashes since I'm usually cold all the time anyway.

#2 - Weepyness. In the hospital the nurse was talking to me about my goals for the day (drink a pitcher of water, take a walk through the halls, get dressed, etc.) I started to weep uncontrollably. And I was like, "I don't know why I'm crying, it's not like I'm sad or anything." And the nurse was like, "Um, they messed with your hormones. You'll get used to it." Great.

#3 - More crying. I now cry for everything. Reading my scriptures, watching TV, seeing Sam, if someone doesn't say "hi" to me I cry.

#4 - Heart burn. Never had it before. What's up with that?

#5 - Loss of appetite. For everything but chocolate.

5 1/2 more months of this. Sweet!

Just a Bit of a Break From The Norm

Yes, finally nice weather. Sam's first dip in the kiddie pool.
"And think of the summers of the past
Adjust the base and let the alpine blast
Pop in my CD and let me run a rhyme
And put your car on cruise and lay back cause this is summertime"
