Finished this book/series this week. I know it's fiction, but I'm still a little sad. I'm pretty much devastated that the person she started this all for dies. Seriously, Suzanne Collins, couldn't you at least have given me that? I know it's about war and no good comes from war, but ugh! P.S. I still want these to be made into movies.9.05.2010

Thanks for ruining it for the rest of the world who hasn't read it yet....
Don't worry fellow Hunger Gamers, there are many a deaths and surprises in this book. And if you guessed who I'm talking about, then I think it might just be better for you when you get there instead of crying in the salon waiting for your mom.
Ok, you have to help me out here. Alan and I were reading the first book together and were totally obsessed...until we got to the part where they are in the game. She runs for a weapon and a boy spits blood in her face....the end. Not sure if someone killed him, but that is what we had guessed, we totally closed the book and haven't picked it up since, not that we haven't wanted to, we talked about it a lot for the first few days after deciding not to read it. How did you get over the fact that it's all about kids killing each other????????? I'm serious, I have a lot of friends who are reading these, am I just a wimp? It is SO sad!
AMBER! Spoiler, alert!
P.s. I was thinking they'd make good movies too but they'd probably end up rated R.
