Below are a collection of pictures my friend and photographer, Jamie, took on Ruby's adoption day. (FYI - She also took our profile pictures). These are in no particular order and, although there were some very special pictures of the birth family, I did not include them in this post out of respect of their privacy.

Well, technically, there is a picture of the birth mother here along with me holding Ruby together.

Signing paperwork, awe yeah.

The birth mother asked me to dress Ruby. No pressure, just everyone watching.

This is how Chad looks during a placement.

This is how I look (trying not to lose it in front of the birth family who were amazingly strong and positive).

Love, Love these pictures. Getting misty at work in the ER at 5:30 am. Not a good thing. You both look radiantly happy. :)
Congratulations. :)
beautiful! I got teary eyed on the last one. I seriously can't imagine giving my baby away. What strength and love they have. What a blessing to you!
There's a lump in my throat, too.
I can't believe I haven't commented on this post yet. I love you guys so much. The day of placement is so full of emotion on both sides. We are SO incredibly happy for your family, I LOVE that you have 3 beautiful children.
We were just talking about you and your kiddos and how excited we are to be adding another baby to our extended family, my mom is excited to add Ruby to her mailing list. ;0)
We love you! We love Birth Moms.
BTW my word verification is "Matie"...weird huh.
