It's a Good Thing They're Still Young

During our weekly Family Home Evening, we have a segment before the lesson called "For the Strength of the Family" where we act out certain realistic situations and then ask the kids what they would do. Tonight's scenario involved Sam and a friend in the candy isle. The friend doesn't have money and suggests they take some candy anyway. Sam knew just what to do. He said, "No, that would be stealing. Let's go." After which we clapped and high-fived him for such a good choice. Then Noelle, after eagerly watching the first scenario, was ready for her turn. Her friend had discovered a gumball machine was broken and you didn't need to put any money in it, but you could just reach your hand inside and get a gumball. What do you do?

"I say thank you."

HI!!!! I'm so happy to see you guys again! (I've been a slacker!)

Good grief, your kids are even cuter than they were a couple of months ago! Who knew that was even possible?!

I love your idea. That really captures the simple truths of the Gospel. GREAT idea!
