"SUM" MER

Hi folks! We've been absent for a while, and are finally playing catch up. Here's a summation of the summer so far ("after" pictures of our home will be coming soon) . . .

The 2009 Woolner Family Reunion (near Nyssa, OR). For those of you wondering, yes, I camped! I slept in a tent, sang around a campfire, watched as everyone else got stung to near death by bees. The best part was the water slide at the campsite--especially in 105 degree weather.

Moving. There was no stopping Sam and Ben from helping.

Downtown Boise 4th of July Parade.

Fireworks.
And, by the look on his face, perhaps I gave him too healthy a dose of, "Be careful with fireworks; they'll melt your skin right of your bones and char the rest of you until nothing remains but ashes and soot. I know because it happened to my brother's best friend's cousin . . . twice removed."

Noelle's turn at swimming lessons. She was the only baby unafraid of going all the way under. And from the way Sam pushes her around in her stroller, she is also ready for roller coasters.

Boise Zoo. One of the workers comments after seeing a blur of Sam go by pushing a stroller: "Is there a baby in that stroller?!" (said worker was holding a 20' python in his hands and was more concerned for the safety of my child than the dozens of kids swarmed around the python).

When Farrah Faucet passed on, she willed her hair to Noelle.

Sam has mastered the art of winking ;)

Father-Son Campout

Snacking--It's most enjoyable whilst hiding under a table in your birthday suit. We shall call it "gymnosnacking".

Hilarious, as always. :) Glad you are all doing well. Did it take a wake to get Farrah's hair to Boise?

I'm glad to see we aren't the only gymnosnackers around. Dylan has kind of a hard time getting under the chairs anymore, though.

This is completely random...I used to live in Sandy, Oregon and I was at a friend's blog and I saw the Woolner name and recognized it so I clicked to see that blog, to see if I knew you (I don't think I do). Anyway...I noticed your family reunion pic was at a campground with that waterslide. I know that place is or was owned by the Church. Does your family have the contact info for the person I would need to call to have a family reunion there? Thanks. That would be AWESOME if you have it or could track it down for us. my email: snefally@yahoo.com
