Sam was helping daddy outside today and blamo! he hit the pavement. His arms couldn't catch him in time. He ended up with abrasions on his arms and face as well as a fat lip. It's starting to itch him like crazy too. It's days like this when you feel like a bad mother. At least we haven't had any emergency room visits yets (knock on wood). No small feat for this tough little guy. Maybe we should rethink the Halloween costume to a gangster.

Poor SAM!
Don't you hate those moments when you have no control over the situation.
I'm thinking gangsta, or even indiana jones. That's what Vance is going to be.
Oh poor Sammy! That looks so painful. Stinking pavement!
Shane and I think he could pull off a good Chuck Liddel for Halloween. What do ya think?
Oh.. That's So sad.. Poor little dude... Kaid feel like that, on the first day of school right before the bus came, and his eye was dark purple, did not look so good.. I was thinking they might have thought I did it.. LOl.. Kids are tough little things..
Youch! He's so cute and sweet it would be hard to give him a gangster name. How about:
Sam the Fierce
Fearless Samsie
Big Brother
Those are bound to strike fear in the hearts of nefarious Halloween candy mobsters.
oooohhhh . . . that's so sad. I hate it when stuff like that happens to the little ones. Of course it's nobody's fault, it's just life.
But DO knock on wood for the "no ER visits . . . yet." You are moving within the week, after all. Seems like we've been at the ER every time we move lately . . . Reevkah with a sprained wrist, London with a broken arm . . . yep. Guess we're guilty of distraction . . .
That is sooo sad-poor kiddo.
how about a football player, full head protection...thats what i'm talkin about.
How sad! But he's so tough, I bet he took it well.
Finn did a similar thing the day before he was scheduled for his 1-year-old pictures. As soon as his face hit the pavement, Brad ran to his aide and I yelled, "Now I'm going to have to reschedule his pictures!" Totally frustrated and unsympathetic. In hindsight, that wasn't a nice mommy reaction.
Ouch! He's so stinkin cute. Little Noelle is so big and so cute. I love the bedding you made, it is so cute, I love the colors, I'm not into the whole pink for girls myself so I really like what you did. I love you house you going to be living in in Idaho. I miss Idaho so bad, I love it there. Oh, to have a whole house and garage and backyard all to yourself, that's the life. Can't wait.
Love you guys, good luck with the move.
Amber Woolner! I was so excited to see your comment on my blog! Your kids are absolutely darling, especially that sweet baby girl of yours. Too cute!
Your comment about the shelf paper made me laugh...oh how I wish I was as organized and on top of things now as I was then...amazing how things change when you spend your days chasing around a little guy and trying to make sure he gets through the day without any bloodshed or bruises!
I would love to catch up...you can email me at cmcolby (at) fincomm (dot) net. I'm sure you're busy with the move but when you get a chance I'd love to hear from you!
Okay, I'm just waiting and wondering if ya made it all the way to Boise!
