Stars and Stripes For . . . a Day

The Parade was, by far, Sam's favorite part of the day. He stood still for 2 hours and watched everything with great interest. The kiddie parade started first and Sam quickly understood his role in gathering as much candy as possible from the participants. And, him being the dang cutest kid there (Noelle was the cutest baby), he was often the target of many a candy toss. Then, the real parade began and it was cars, turbo cars, fire engines, police cars, cement mixers, trucks, car transporters, go carts, horses and jet planes. They tossed him candy too (again, dang cutest kid there), but he was too interested in the vehicles to pay any attention to the lure of sugar.

What a beautiful family.
So glad to have an update.
You must have had a great trip.
You know mattie would save her candy while everyone else scarfed theirs down.
To this day she is good about not going overboard.
You obviously don't scarf too many treats, so he's got good examples all around.
Noelle is adorable.

Hey Ambs,

Looks like your 4th was great! In answer to your question posted on our site . . . we would love to be in CO, but would also be amenable to the Pacific Northwest, northern CA, southern UT (like Cedar), Montana, etc. Somewhere not too hot with mountians and or family close by. How is the home search going for you guys?
