The kids and I are in NC for three works or so (not sure yet how long; we only got one-way tickets) and we know Chad is missing us. We are missing him like crazy, but the sunshine has been our consolation. The vitamin D has brought happiness into my life. Here are a few posts for the man we miss and love (and everybody else too). . .
We've also been to a couple parks already. Sam liked this slide the best because it wasn't hot from the sun. He made friends with all the kids and waved at the men mowing the lawn. Noelle sat in the shade with Grandma enjoying her bottle and southern hospitality.

We have been swimming at Aunt Alicia's pool nearly everyday with Ethan. Now that school is out, it's going to be a lot more crowded. Sam loves it because the kiddie pool is wide and just deep enough to sit in. Ethan laughs when he splashes him, so he is loving being able to rough house. All the kids bring toys and they share and share alike.
This was taken just today on the way to Nick's award assembly. Noelle has been rolling to her sides now as well as rolling over from her tummy to her back. She can rotate 90 degrees on her tummy and has been inching her way forward to reach toys. She is gulping down 6oz in 2 minutes flat and taking one 3-hour nap in the afternoon and that's it. She loves it when Grandpa or uncle Rob talks and plays with her--she likes the boys the best. Her favorite toy is a plastic tupperware lid.

Dang and double dang. I can't even believe how dang cute your dang kids are. Dang.
WOW, Sam's new do is awesome. He looks way too grown up. Noelle is a doll baby!! I should make some more headbands and send your way, as long as she keeps them on. One time (in SLC) kennedy was a few months old, and started bawling in the back seat. I finally realized her headband was down across her eyes and she couldn't see, and she was MAD!
Adorable kids as usual. Have fun. I have never been to NC.
Amber!! It has been too longs since we've talked. Your kids are the cutest ever! Noelle is just amazingly beautiful. We're on vacation right now (Hawaii, baby!) but we'll need to chat when I get back. The best news ever is that we got an offer on our house! Finally!!
Super jealous you've escaped the land of gloom! But I'm glad for you too. You deserve a break from the day to day! Have a great time.
Really fun pictures. I, too, am insanely jealous of your vitamin D. I'm looking out my window at clouds.
Cole has those same Cars PJ's . . . he LOVES them. :)
Cool perspective on the slide picture. I love nifty shots like that cause I know you are willing to crawl into or climb atop anything to capture the golden moment. I am too. My husband could die of embarrassment, but I say, in ten years we won't even remember this crowd of horrified/awed onlookers, but we will still have this photo.
