The other day I was in Target in the Easter candy isle and noticed they had movies for Easter for $7.99. Some of them where about bunnies and Mickey Mouse, but they also had movies about Jesus. One caught my eye. It's called "The Animated Passion of Christ for the Whole Family". It's by Nest Entertainment (the same company that does the Living Scriptures). I bought it and watched it last night. It was quality and had two features: The betrayal and crucifixion and the resurrection. It also had several musical vignettes as a bonus feature that included: Christ's birth, baptism, Prodigal Son, John the Baptist, Good Samaritan, etc. This retails normally for anywhere from $15 to $29. It's so worth it. I'm telling everyone who is interested. Sam watched it on Sunday and was pointing out Jesus' owie hands and telling me "Mommy. Sad." I think it's going to be a good teaching tool to have. So hurry and grab one while supplies last (my mother-in-law bought 4 for her children's families today for Easter).3.03.2008
