On December 20th, we finally got to use our tickets to board the Polar Express in Hood River, Oregon. It was worth every penny we spent. They played music, decorated the cars with garlands and bows, served hot chocolate and cookies, had a reading of the book The Polar Express, carolers sang, and the conductor even came to punch your ticket about 42 times just like in the movie.

That sounds like such fun!
Wait a minute...he wasn't scared of Santa Claus? I love it when tickets are punched. Remember in Europe how we wanted our passports stamped and they never came?
