We have BIG, exciting news. We're adopting another baby! We have been speaking with a birthmother for a few weeks now. She is perfect and beautiful and wonderful and made it official last night. We feel so honored that she chose us and are absolutely thrilled to the point we may soil ourselves. What a wonderful Christmas gift. She is due toward the end of January, but does not yet know the sex of the baby. We wanted to hear what you think--take the poll to your right. Either way, we'll be happy beyond measure. A boy would be such a buddy to Sam and a girl would be a literal miracle for my side of the family. I can't believe we'll soon be a family of four. Yaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaah! Thank you to everyone who has been praying and fasting and hoping for us. Your prayers were truly felt.

We coudln't be happier for you. Seeing your children interact and get to know each other is so much fun. 2 years apart, not bad either. Sam is in for a little surprise. Hope he takes to the baby quick. Some of mine have been completely uninterested in the new baby. It will be wonderful! We can't wait to see your family.
