How does he know he can get whatever he wants with a smile like that? It almost redeems him from the potty training week from hades. Sam's on the every other day plan--one day he's dry and goes on the toilet and the next, I'll sit him on it, he'll immediately get up and soak the entire carpet wall to wall. Anyone else experience this stange phenomenon? Any advice? I think I lost 2 lbs this week just cleaning up after him.

Christopher gets that same smile-but the potty training thing just aint happenin period-so be glad that he at least stays dry 50% of the time!
I love how darn cute kids can be! Hang in there...it does get better!
We used a marshmallow jar. Put a jar of colored mallows on a shelf above the toilet. When he goes, he eats one, when he accidents, he flushes one down the potty. It's a consequence but not a punishment.
