Those of you who were into potty humor in the early 80's will know this reference. It's from a commercial for the Mickey Mouse phone. The little boy actor actually said, "Mickey, come over for a party", but it sounded just like "potty". It was totally funny to my brother Joel and me. Anyway, we've started potty training. Well, sort of. We're just getting Sam used to the idea. Yesterday he was tugging at his diaper so I asked if he had to go potty and he ran to the toilet, lifted up the lid, put his little seat on top, I sat him up there and he went pee pee! Yes! Chocolate chips all around.

We did this Potty in a Day thing with Gage and it actually worked! Even for bed time - no diaper/pull up/undies transition. Ch-ch-ch-check it.
