On Saturday, September 23rd, 2006, Samuel Mattison Woolner was sealed to us in the Portland Oregon temple. For those who don't know what that means, it means that Sam is a forever part of our family and it is as if he were born to Chad and me. It was such an amazing experience. The following day was Sam's blessing. He cried the entire time. A dozen men in suits surrounding you can be a little intimidating. But, it didn't matter. He's now sealed and blessed and he's all ours.

This is Sam's blessing day. He's wearing a white bowtie that the lady in the temple youth center made for him. I know Chad looks like he's balding, but it's really the sun light playing a trick on your eyes.
